Our happiness and satisfaction quotient has increased substantially!
We began exploring franchise ownership as an exit strategy from Law Enforcement for Wade. After working with a career coach he discovered business ownership would likely be the best fit for our family. 18 years of service to the community provided a wide skill set and we both wanted ownership over our future. Starting a business from scratch seemed overwhelming, even though we had hobby businesses before. Thankfully we knew Stacey and trusted her to introduce us to franchising as a faster way to get started with business ownership.
Stacey took time to get to know us, our needs and what best fit our desired lifestyle.  We never felt like we were being “sold” or any type of pressure at all.  Stacey presented a number of franchise opportunities and as a result, we explored several different business models with open territories in our corner of NC. We wanted something with stable scalability, a proven track record through the Great Recession and Pandemic, home office based, and excellent support from the franchise. Oxi Fresh was not even on our list at first, and we almost went with another franchise. Thankfully we didn’t rush the process, did a full discovery of Oxi Fresh and other franchises, and executed a full business plan and financial projections. Stacey helped us the whole way and reviewed our documents. When we had concerns she was our advocate. Realizing the earning potential, quality of time gained, and not being “on call” is what led us to our point of clarity with Oxi Fresh.
Since that time we went to Colorado to buy our franchise and joined the Oxi Fresh family. We had our first job within 45 days of our visit to Colorado and have been growing ever since. Our local community has embraced us fully and we’re already growing outside of our primary zip codes. We are planning to have another vehicle in the field by Spring 2023 and 1-2 technicians to work jobs so Wade can market the business. Being a Law Enforcement family was an honor, but it has a unique set of challenges. We no longer live by a phone, a work place’s schedule, or expect to be woken in the middle of the night. We can plan vacations when we want and Wade can kick off for an afternoon to ride his bike or work on his Jeep. Our stress is not gone, but it is different and significantly reduced. Our happiness and satisfaction quotient has increased substantially.  I plan to stay an employee since having a steady W2 income is nice while we make this transition. In the long run, we have our eye on another territory. We are both thrilled to be new business owners and wouldn’t have gotten to this point had it not been for Stacey!  We have recommended Stacey to a number of folks so far and will continue to do so in the future.

  • I wish I could say that becoming a business owner was all planned, but not really!

I had been working in Industrial Maintenance in several of the manufacturing plants in Kansas City for the past 20 years and Covid took its toll – I found myself unemployed. I got a phone call from a Career Ownership Coach about a new career opportunity. I blew it off because I had gotten so many other calls about jobs and ways to change my life, I was burnt out. After about the 3rd call, I felt it was a little different than the other calls and I said OK. After several meetings with Stacey Gibson, where she took the time to learn who I was, she presented career possibilities. After learning more about each of them, one option stood out. I was able to relate my experience in the industrial maintenance world & find what had been missing in that arena for me. During this time, Stacey provided coaching and mentoring along the way.

I always wanted to be a business owner/life influencer but never had the right opportunity or just the guts to make the jump. Stacey gave me the courage to explore and find the right.

Thus, I was able to fulfil my lifelong dream of becoming a business owner.

  • Life Changing Journey

After 22 years as an executive at a small company we were purchased by a much larger national company. That’s when I realized that the level of autonomy that I had enjoyed for the past several decades was not going to fit into a large corporate structure. Thank goodness I found Stacey Gibson and the Entrepreneur’s Source. I trusted the process and after learning a lot about myself and evaluating several great opportunities, I’m excited to finally be my own boss! Stacey is a fantastic coach and mentor and this has been a life changing journey. If you find yourself at the same crossroads wondering what to do next, you owe it to yourself to go through this process and discover what it means to be in charge of your own destiny.

  • “I started with just me and one truck, working out of my garage. I now have four employees, and I am in a commercial space. The earnings potential is pretty well limitless at this point. I am busy. I do have to spend time away from my family just as I did before. But now, if I want to stay home and cook my kids breakfast, I can. On nice sunny days, if I want to cut out early to take the kids swimming, I do. I don’t just have weekends to choose from anymore.”

  • “After working as an executive in the Detroit area, I found myself at a crossroads. At the age of 64, many people are looking to wind down; but I was starting a whole new adventure. I considered taking another shot at the day-to-day corporate grind. I tried to find another position, but my wife and I have always dreamed of owning our own business, so we began to examine the possibilities. That’s when I found The Entrepreneur’s Source®. I feel my coach has developed his communication skills which allow him to listen with true empathy and I completely trusted The Entrepreneur’s Source process. Now I feel I have personal value in my work. I am loving being a business owner and can see the impact it can have on others. The Entrepreneur’s Source has a great process to help you explore self-sufficiency.”

  • “I was traveling across the country working in corporate sales and one day I realized that I didn’t want to travel anymore! That’s when I began to think about owning my own business. I began working with my Career Ownership Coach who helped me begin my Journey of Discovery. For me, it was a great process. I was learning about what excited and motivated me, but also what didn’t! That was just as important. I am so happy I went on the “journey,” and was also happy to have my coach along with me. He was a very good listener. He was genuinely interested in my long-term success. and he challenged me to see some things I didn’t even see in myself.”

    LEE PUTNAM, New Business Owner
  • “I had worked for 15 years in the world of corporate finance when I was forced to make a sudden exit. I had always thought to myself, I have this great corporate job, I’m on easy street. But I was really in the wrong place at the wrong time. I had no control over my own destiny. My Career Ownership Coach helped me take a close look at Franchising to achieve self-sufficiency.  Franchising was a better choice for me rather than starting a business from the ground up. I have a good sense of how things should run and customer service but I tend not to be strong on the sales side and frankly, I am not the stereotypical idea-man. A franchise is giving you the playbook, and you have a product. In my mind a lot of the basics have been built, you just need to follow the proven system. When friends are approaching those exit ramps in life, the first thing I tell them to do is to connect with a Career Ownership Coach at The Entrepreneur’s source.”

    ANDREW BROWN, New Business Owner
  • “The first time I met with my coach, I didn’t think I would walk out with a popcorn stand…Throughout my career, I never once dreamed I’d be in the place I’m in now. I thank E-Source for helping guide me.”

    BILL BENTZ, New Business Owner
  • “Being an entrepreneur was always an idea in my head, but to be honest, I thought when I got to the point in my life that I had a family, that that ship had sailed. My wife and I met with our Career Ownership Coach and found The Entrepreneur’s Source® to be a valuable tool throughout our discovery process. Now, as a business owner I have not only raised nearly $1 million dollars for schools in my community, but I work hard, and I get the flexibility to do what I want to do when I want to do it.”
